We have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic, reliable and hardworking individual to join our newly structured premises team as a Caretaker. We are looking for someone who is conscientious and self-motivated to provide a key role in maintaining our schools to ensure a clean, safe, and secure learning environment for our pupils and the local community.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a caretaker or site maintenance type role within a school environment or other business premises. Experience/Qualifications relating to a trade such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, health and safety, water testing, small building works or plastering would be advantageous.
Your main duties will be to provide handyman duties to the school premises for example repairs to furniture and fixtures, decorating tasks, small plumbing works, carpentry and small building works plus general maintenance duties.
This is a permanent position and we offer a very generous pension scheme.
The school is used outside of school hours by various groups which you may be required to lock up after and for which additional pay would be given.
