The Role

We are looking for a Nursery Leader to join our team who is passionate about Early Years education and wants to provide an environment where young children feel safe, cared for and inspired to learn.

A level 3 childcare qualification or Early Years degree is essential for this role.

Experience of working with young children to support both their social and emotional and academic growth is essential, as is a commitment to a relational approach where children and families are made to feel valued and cared for.

This role will involve working directly with children, sometimes solely with the nursery group, and sometimes sharing learning with our reception children. You will be part of a supportive team of Early Years staff.

You will be given time to plan for the nursery children using the EYFS framework and school curriculum documents which we have devised to meet the needs of our children. The school administrator will organise administration of the nursery, working closely with you.

Ide Primary School is a village school located on the edge of Exeter.  We have a strong and caring ethos which runs through the community, underpinned by our values of kindness and respect, teamwork, curiosity and individual best.

If you would like any further information, an informal conversation or to arrange a school tour, please contact the Head teacher at Ide Primary School 01392 259964
